1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how GrowthGlass, operated by Lextronica, Inc ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and Service. For data you submit about your brand and competitors, you are the controller and we act as your processor.

2. Information we collect

• Account data. Name, email address, password (hashed), and workspace details.
• Customer Data. The brands, prompts, competitors, and settings you add, and the AI answers and mentions we collect on your behalf.
• Billing data. Subscription and payment details are processed by Stripe; we store limited records (plan, status, customer/subscription identifiers) but not full card numbers.
• Usage data. Log data, device/browser information, and product analytics used to operate and improve the Service.
• Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management.

3. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Run AI visibility checks and the AI Analyst on your behalf.
• Process payments, manage subscriptions and credits, and prevent fraud.
• Send service communications, alerts, and (with your consent where required) product updates.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. AI providers & subprocessors

To deliver core features we share certain data with subprocessors who process it on our behalf:

• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) - receive prompts/inputs to generate visibility results and analyst responses.
• Stripe - payment processing.
• Hosting & infrastructure ([hosting provider], managed Postgres) - runs the application and stores data.
• Email delivery ([email provider]) - sends transactional and notification emails.
• If you bring your own AI keys, AI requests are made with your keys to the providers you choose.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with subprocessors (above), where you direct us to, to comply with law or protect rights, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition).

6. Data retention

We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and encryption of sensitive credentials at rest. See our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@growthglass.app.

9. International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
